Sebastian Schreiber: Short profile of the Managing Director

Founder and Managing Director

Sebastian Schreiber, born in 1972, studied computer science, physics, mathematics and business economics and holds a diploma in computer science (Dipl.-inform.) from the University of Tübingen. From 1996 to 1998, he worked for Hewlett-Packard.

While still a student, he founded the IT security company SySS GmbH in Tübingen in 1998. SySS performs extensive security assessments for numerous companies.

Since 2000, Sebastian Schreiber is regularly performing live hacks on national and international trade fairs and congresses. There, he vividly shows how IT networks, passwords and data can be easily accessed. 

He is a welcome expert on television, radio and in the print media. This spans from German prime time news programs to consumer magazines or talk shows.

As a long time member, Sebastian Schreiber is also commited to, e.g., the „Verband für Sicherheit in der Wirtschaft Baden Württemberg e.V. (ASW BW)” and various other advisory councils.
