Sebastian Schreiber, born in 1972, studied computer science, physics, mathematics and business economics and holds a diploma in computer science (Dipl.-inform.) from the University of Tübingen. From 1996 to 1998 he worked for Hewlett-Packard.
While still a student, he founded the IT security company SySS GmbH in Tübingen in 1998 that performs extensive safety assessments for numerous comanies.
Since 2000, Sebastian Schreiber is regularly performing live hacks on national and international trade fairs and congresses, clearly showing how IT networks, passwords and data can be easily accessed.
He is a welcome expert on television, radio and in the print media, spanning from German prime time news programs to consumer magazines or talk shows.
Sebastian Schreiber is a longstanding member of the Verband für Sicherheit in der Wirtschaft Baden-Württemberg e.V. ("Association for Economic Security Baden-Württemberg") as well as in the committee of journal "Zeitschrift für Datenschutz und Datensicherheit – DuD".
