Not only phishing mails but also a seemingly harmless phone call or pretending to be a supposedly “new colleague” belong to the attack tools of a social engineer. One can repeatedly find that employees are hardly aware of such attacks. Links in phishing mails are clicked and credentials entered, information is provided on the phone and the “new colleague” is admitted access to the company premises.
The workshop "Social Engineering Awareness" deals with this problem in an illustrative way on the basis of many vivid practical examples. The training is held by SySS’ own Red Team that can look back at ten years of practical experience in the implementation of social engineering attacks.
